A Book To Share

I want to introduce a book which influences me a lot in my life.The book’s name is “ a gift “.The content is about a boy who wants to find his gift in his life.The boy always play in the large park and he makes friend with an wise elder one day.The elder tells the boy about a gift which is invisible and intangible. The boy is really curious about the gift, but he can’t understand what it really is and can only recognize that it is a special gift and will bring happiness to him. After several years, the boy grows up and always work hard. He is really busy and doesn’t have time to relax because he thinks maybe it’s a way to get the special gift. When he almost feels hopeless, he goes to the park begging help from the elderly, and he is suggested to relax for a period of time. The boy follows the advice and travels to some place. In the long run, he finds the gift and it’s what he always ignoring after he grows up. People will have more and more problems that needed to be dealed with when we grow up. And most of us will forget some important things in our life and feel unhappy. This book can make us stop for a while and think what is the real thing we want to do in our life.

I want to share this book with my mother. She has to take care of me and also work for a long time. Everytime I see her, she always looks tired and unhappy. I don’t know what to do and can only help her do some houseworks. In recent years, I can gradually feel that my mom not only feels tired to her body but also weary in her mind. I want to share this book with her because I think there is also a special gift in her life and no matter how old she is, she can still find her unique gift in her life. I hope this book can make her think about what is the gift in her life and hope she will be happy and have a brilliant smile on her face again.

 

 

Smart Phone Trouble

One day, Amy and her mother were walking in the downtown and looking for Amy’s birthday gift. With a glimpse of an expensive and latest mobile phone, Amy recognized that it must be the best choice to be her present, so she kept begging her mom and promised that she would study hard. Unable to resist the lovely daughter’s request, the mother agreed to buy it for her. Amy was so excited and brought it to show her friends all the time. She couldn’t control herself to show off how many capabilities it had and how expensive it was. One day, Amy was chatting with her friend about her new present and didn’t notice the next class began. After the teacher started her class, she found there were some noises in the class. She walked behind Amy and then took away her phone immediately. Being astonished for a while, Amy was indignant and turned  around to see who interrupted her, but she was shocked at the next moment when the teacher stood over there with the phone and a harsh look.

  Amy was scared and couldn’t stop trembling. She had no idea but had glanced at the teacher. Needless to say, the phone was taken away by the teacher. After school, Amy went to see the teacher and hoped the teacher could give it back to her. After being punished by the teacher, Amy felt relaxed and pretended that nothing happened and then went home. However, when she opened the door, her mom was standing there with a horrible look. In fact, her mom was told about the event from the teacher, and at last, the present given to Amy was confiscated and she had to do all housework for two months. As the saying goes,” Extreme joy begets sorrow.”

The Missing Bag

On a rainy day, an obese middle-aged man carried a huge, dark-brown, and tattered briefcase into a noodle shop. The man was so starving that he ordered two large bowls of noodles. After finishing his meal, he quickly caught the bill and then went out the shop. After ten minutes, a naughty boy, had a glimpse of the odd bag. He called his mother, the owner of the noodle shop. Both of them were so curious that they couldn’t help but to open the strange briefcase. To their surprise, there were two billion dollars in it, and they were too shocked to think of what to do.

  The man, not knowing where his briefcase was placed, was really nervous and looking for it everywhere but for no profit. When the man was searching for the briefcase, the shop owner and her son gave it to a police officer. After the police opened the briefcase, the police was shocked because the total amount in the bag was the same with that stolen from an old woman! In the long run, the middle-aged man was the thief and the naughty boy and his mother got a part of the stolen money offered by the owner of money to reward them. The story tells us that honest and hard work would be the best way to earn money.

Snapshots

This was the third day,and also the last day of our trip.In this day, we are in kaohsiung, Eda. It was really hot and lots of students from other schools were in Eda, too.In this photo, we decided to go to the ghost house first because it was too hot now and we thought if we didn’t go there at first , we would not have any chance to go to the ghost house.There were too many people in Eda, so we didn’t play too many kinds of facilities. Although we didn’t play all facilities in Eda, we still had fun because we played together, ate together,and also run together. They are really good memories to me!

This photo was shot in National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium. The wind here was very strong and it was too hard to keep our hair neat and tidy. Everyone was just like a crazy person, and I almost can’t see things due to my hair covered  my face! This day, I wore shoes that were six centermiters tall, and Christine wore ten centermiters tall’s shoes. When I see the photo in my first sight, I feel nothing, but some classmates said that my legs seems thinner than in reality, so I watched this photo for a while ,and then found they were true! Because of this, this photo becames my favorite photo. 

I found it was really strange that I had few photos look good and most of them had Daisy !This photo was shot after dinner in the restaurant ,and it was really noisy here ,everyone was talking ,laughing, playing and taking photos. This photo was really fun because our guide is behind us and his facial expression was funny.I think the photo is important because I didn’t take photo with our guide but this photo in other side can be said a photo of the guide and I, so I love this picture!

Ingredients:

5 Pork loin chops (about 265 grams)
1/2 onion
1/2 green capsicum
1/2 red capsicum
3 slides of pineapple (fresh or tinned)
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

Marinade:

1 tablespoon soya sauce
2 teaspoons grated ginger juice
2 teaspoons Shao-xing wine
1/2 teaspoon corn flour
a dash of salt & white pepper

Sweet & sour sauce ingredients:

4 tablespoons white vinegar
1 tablespoon water
49 grams brown sugar in pieces (片糖, chopped into small pieces)
2 tablespoons ketchup

Thickening:

1/2 teaspoon corn flour
2 tablespoon water

Method:

1. Rinse and dry pork chops, tenderize them briefly with the back of a chopper, sprinkle salt and pepper. Cut each pork chop into 3 pieces, then blend in soya sauce, ginger juice and wine. Leave them for 30 minutes.

2. Wash green and red capsicum and cut them into pieces. Cut pineapple into bite sizes.

3. Briefly coat the marinated pork chops with some corn flour. Fry them on medium-heat pan until golden. Set aside.

4. Heat 1 tablespoon oil to sauté onion until soft, then add minced garlic, green & red capsicums. Sprinkle a dash of salt, stir fry a while until the vegetables turn soft. Dish up.

5. Pour in sweet and sour sauce ingredients with brown sugar on low heat until sugar dissolves. Simmer for 1 minute, uncovered. Add thickening to the sauce if you desire. Put back the pork chops and stir well. Turn off the heat, add pineapple. Dish up and serve hot.

I have a hobby that I think without eating rice, that is not a formal meal. In Taiwan, there is hot and moist in summer,and it will make me have no appetite,so what can I do? I still have to eat every meals.In the south China, there are many places that always hot and moist. Due to the weather, people over there have no appetite to eat, so the cook there create a kind of source. It tastes sweet and sour, and make people feel hungry,it also goes very well with rice,with this source, we can have a great meal everytime.

There are many restaurants have this kind of meal but the cook there do not make it by natural ingredients, they use MSG, a kind of flavoring, the cook use it to that us consider the food they cooked are delicious, but MSG is not healthy, it will hurt our health, and let our organs get sick! This meal is not very hard to do, so I think if we can do it ourselves, we can make sure the things we add in are healthy and natural, by this way, we can enjoy a delicious meal and also have a healthy body!

pride and prejudice

    I want to recommend a book I read.The title is”Pride and Prejudice”.It is really famous and well-known.Jane Austen is a novelist and very focus that extends, surprisingly, into a wide range of concerns.

    Pride and Prejudice is a humorous story of love and life among of English gentility during the Georgian period. Mr Bennet is an english gentleman who lives in Hartfordshire with his overbearing wife. Mr.Bennet has 5 daughters,Jane is beautiful,Elizabeth is clever, Mary likes to read,Kitty is childish and Lydia is wild.Bennets are unfortunate,if Mr Bennet dies,their house will be received by a distant cousin whom they have never met, so the family’s future is rely on the daughters making good marriages. Life is quiet until Mr Bingley,the rich gentleman of the neighbourhood,rents a big house that he can spend the summer in the country.Mr Bingley brings his sister and the dashing,rich but proud: Mr Darcy. Love is soon in the air for one of the Bennet sisters, while another may have jumped to a hasty prejudgment. For the Bennet sisters,there are many tests and tribulations happen among of them.

    I thought it must be boring when I saw the title at first,it seems like the author uses a book and preach to me!There is no denying that lots of people have these two kinds of personalities,and they are really hard to change.After reading the book,I know that if we have some prejudices to someone,we will think that she(or he)is…,but the truth maybe not like what we are thinking.when we meet someone at first time,we can’t just listen to others,we have to really understand someone,and then determine what kind of person he is,then,there won’t have pride and prejudice conflict production.
The book not only interesting but also let me more understand about the culture and society.I also learned some knowledgeable things from her,it’s a real classical novel.

孟漢娜電影版Hannah Montana The Movie

There is a girl who has two kinds of status,one is a popular singer with a fair wig,and the other is a girl just like somebody else and with a brown hair.All things she does in order to have a ordinary life,she hopes her friends like Miley,not Hannah,a super star.She has managed two worlds for many years,but when Hannah is busier,she has to sacrifice some times of Miley.The balance between Hannah and Miley tumbles down,and his father forces her to take a trip to her hometown,Tennessee,to let her think which part is more important,Miley or Hannah.

I have been Hannah Montana’s fans for a long time,so I was really excited when I knew she will starring in the movie.

There have some funny things happen in the movie,like Hannah had a fight with Tyra Banks over a pair of shoes that she wants to buy Lilly as a birthday present. What I like most are the songs in the movie,when I first listen to the songs(the climb and butterfly fly away),I almost cry because they are too beautiful and touching.I think she is a really good actress and excellent singer,and I will save money to buy Hannah Montana The Movie Soundtrack.It has wonderful songs and touch the chords of my heart.so I recommend it to everybody,hope you like it .

Summary of the story

“Macbeth" is written by Shakespeare when he was low-spirited,it’s one of the “four major tragedy". It’s talking about General Mark White of Scotland,because of listening to the Witch’s speculation, he produced an attempt to tamper the throne,and then started a series of bloody violence and fight.

In his disposition, the power of desire is stronger than any kind of scruples,and in the long run,the desire for the power let him crazy,even though he finally ascend  the throne ,the people think that he is a tyrant and send a punitive expedition to him. Mark White wants to change the fate, but eventually,he has to submit himself to the rule of the fate.

A modern adaptation

Men of Respect is a 1990 crime drama film,it is adapt from William Shakespeare’s play: Macbeth.John Turturro is play the part of Mike Battaglia, a Mafia killer,in order to climb to the top,he killed his boss.
The film also have other characters: Rod Steiger, Stanley Tucci, Dennis Farina and Peter Boyle,and the director is William C. Reilly. It is not the first attempt to transplant MacBeth to the American mob culture; it was done in the 1955 film Joe MacBeth.
